I’ve read a ton of books on writing, plotting, planning, characters, dialog, description and anything else pertaining to writing. I have another ton on my wish list, but I have just stumbled on one that has me excited to start writing again.

Lisa Cron pulls no punches. She doesn’t hesitate to explain why some of the things we’ve been taught about creative writing over the years are just plain wrong. Then she proceeds to explain why and what we should be doing instead.
I originally bought this in audio but I will be purchasing it in paperback so I can reread it and mark special passages. I would recommend this one very highly to both beginner writers and experienced ones.
