A Huge Book Recommendation

Spread the love

I have read a lot of books about writing techniques, the creative process, and the writing process in general. Many of them I would recommend if asked but very few were so exceptional that I would go right out and recommend openly to writers at large.

That all changed this week with the brand new release of “Book Craft: How to Write Books Readers Love, From First Draft to Final Polish” by Derek Murphy.

I don’t care if your the newest sort of beginning writer or a gnarled ole veteran of the printed page, if you read only one book this year on writing this should be the one. As it says in the blurb on Amazon: “This is not a book, it’s an initiation. You’re here because you love the alchemical process where your creativity and inspiration bleed onto the page. You’ve tasted the power of using letters to communicate ideas and cast spells, bewitching readers and captivating them with the powers of your mind.”

Do yourself a huge favor. Get this book right away and devour it from cover to cover. I would be surprised if you only read it once.
