Calling all Indigenous artists and writers! Here is a great contest you should know about!

Indigenous Arts & Stories is providing an opportunity for self-identified Indigenous youth (ages 6 to 29) to express themselves creatively!

Indigenous Arts & Stories began this contest in 2005 out of the success of “Our Story: Aboriginal Voices on Canada’s Past,” published by Doubleday Canada, in which nine leading Indigenous authors from across Canada contributed a short fictional story about a defining moment in Indigenous history.

It quickly became the biggest and most recognizable creative writing competition in the country for Indigenous youth. In 2010, the program was further expanded to include the arts, allowing Indigenous artists to express themselves in more unique ways.
